Summer camps offer a variety of experiences to children and Huron Valley Ambulance’s Camp 9-1-1 is no exception. During the free 2-day camp, 8 to 12 year olds will tour an ambulance, learn CPR and first aid, interact with local fire and police departments and visit a hospital emergency department. HVA Paramedics and EMTs teach campers about safety at home and at play, how to perform life saving skills on injured victims, and all about emergency services careers.
Camp 9-1-1 runs on Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days and is being held at Glaab Individual Financial Planning, 37229 Huron River Dr., New Boston, MI 48164.
Camp 9-1-1 registration is first come, first served, and limited to 30 participants per camp. For a registration form or more information, call Jason Trojan, Camp 9-1-1 Coordinator, at 734-477-6781 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An online registration form is available at www.hva.org.
