Township water supply to be shut down daily from May 4-8 due to main upgrades

Residents in Huron Township may experience daily water disruptions from Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8 due to upgrades being made at the Will Carleton water main.

According to the township’s website, the water main will be shut off daily from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

A new water main was recently installed, and during the shut off periods, the contractor will be making the final connections to the new main.

“The short term inconvenience will be a long term solution to the past water main disruptions due to water main breaks,” the website said.

If you have any questions regarding the disruption, call the Huron Township Water Department at 734-753-9376.
