On Sunday, April 26, over 150 runners and walkers participated in the Jimmy Williams Memorial Scholarship Run at Willow Metro Park in New Boston.
The run is held in honor of Jimmy Williams, an honor student and exceptional football player at Huron High School who died in a car crash on Nov. 18, 2012 while he was traveling with his family through South Carolina on vacation.
Participants of the event included friends of Jimmy Williams, Huron High School students, teachers and many other people from around the community.
