According to the Huron Township Police Department, 20 year old Terrance Letari Stewart was arrested for an alleged robbery on Thursday, July 3 at the Huron Estates mobile home park.

The alleged victim, who is aquatinted with Stewart, stated that the suspect entered their vehicle, robbed them of a large sum of cash and implied that he had a weapon.

After stealing the cash, Stewart allegedly fled the scene.

Huron Police responded to the call and set up a perimeter in the area and apprehended the suspect and the stolen cash, according to Chief Robbins.

The suspect was charged with felony armed robbery, felony robbery from person and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The suspect was arranged in the 34th district court and is being held in the Wayne County Jail.

Chief Robbins noted that due to the quick response of Officers Ed Hindley and Sterling Price, the cash was recovered and the situation was resolved.
